I rendered this solely in black and white charcoal pencils on a toned surface. In this case, the paper was a nice pastel sheet of a warm reddish hue. I'm not particularly a fan of drawing still life or food, but when the mood strikes me I get quite into it :giggle:

Besides, I really enjoy getting the different shiny/waxy/wet/soft textures different types of fruit can have and the surface imperfections they carry with them.
